Vivo X100 Series Set to Launch in China
The highly anticipated Vivo X100 series is scheduled to launch in China on November 13. As the brand’s latest flagship lineup, it is expected to surpass the Vivo X90 series in the market. Similar to its predecessors, the Vivo X100 will consist of three models: the base Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro, and Vivo X100 Pro+.
Complete Specifications and Storage Variants
A recent report by 91Mobiles has revealed the complete specifications for the base Vivo X100 model. The smartphone is expected to be available in four storage variants: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. The price of the phone is projected to start at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 45,600). Consumers will have the option to choose from Black, Blue, Orange, and White color options. It’s worth noting that the Vivo X90 was launched at a price of CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 42,000) for its 8GB + 128GB variant.
Impressive Display and Processing Power
The upcoming Vivo X100 is expected to feature a stunning 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels and an impressive refresh rate of 120Hz. Powering the device will be a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, combined with LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.0 inbuilt storage. The smartphone will come pre-installed with Android 14-based OriginOS 4.
Enhanced Camera Capabilities
The Vivo X100 is said to sport a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.6, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support and a focal length of f/2.0, and a third 64-megapixel periscope shooter with 3x optical zoom, an f/2.6 aperture, and an astounding 100x digital zoom. Additionally, the camera module is expected to feature a laser focus system. On the front, the phone may house a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
Long-Lasting Battery and Connectivity Options
The base Vivo X100 is rumored to be equipped with a powerful 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging, ensuring quick and convenient charging capabilities. In terms of connectivity, the phone is expected to offer Bluetooth 5.4, an infrared (IR) sensor, WiFi 7, NFC, and even India’s satellite navigation system, NavIC. The handset weighs 205 grams and has a compact size of 164mm x 75.2mm x 8.5mm.
