A science exhibition celebrating the 41st anniversary of the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) was a resounding success at Shrikurushna Secondary School, Paithan Road. Over 50 schools across the city came together to showcase their scientific prowess, marking a promising and innovative event.
Deputy Municipal Commissioner Inaugurates the Exhibition
The exhibition was inaugurated by the esteemed Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Nanda Gaikwad, who commended the participating schools for their dedication and hard work. The event saw the participation of enthusiastic students, eager to share their scientific projects and display their creativity.
Winners Announced in Different Categories
Three students were chosen as winners in two categories, selected to represent the city at the upcoming district-level exhibition. In the higher primary group, Akshay Sonawane from Maratha High School, Chauraha, secured the first position, Usna Sadaf from CSMC Primary School, Naregaon, secured the second position, and Daksh Vakode from Radhakrishna Primary School secured the third position. Impressive achievements from young minds indeed.
The first prize in the second secondary and higher secondary category was clinched by Prathamesh Rode from Saraswati Bhuvan Prashala. Sai Tayade and Bhakti Dhokte from Sharda Mandir Kanya Prashala secured the second position, and Yash Dabhade from CSMC Secondary School, Mukundwadi, took the third position. The talent and dedication displayed by these students were truly commendable.

The event was adorned by the presence of notable individuals such as Education Officer Bharat Teengote, Headmaster Ramesh Bhange, Rekha Ware, Santosh Tapkire, Asaram Jadhav, and R. A. Shelke. The judges for the exhibition, Dinesh Maske and Arun Mane, provided a fair and insightful evaluation of the projects.
