The Opposition BJP in Karnataka is working to build momentum ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, leveraging the appointment of B.Y. Vijayendra as the party’s State president. Former chief minister B.S. Yediyurappa has announced plans for a mega convention with over one lakh workers, in which Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to participate.

Push for Participation of Amit Shah in Grand Event

Expressing his aspirations, Mr. Yediyurappa articulated the party’s desire to host a grand event to commemorate Mr. Vijayendra’s assumption of the role of party State president. He emphasized the importance of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s participation in this event, underscoring the significance of the occasion.

Mr. Yediyurappa proudly declared that his son, Vijayendra, had assumed the position of State president in accordance with the guidance and blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and National President J.P. Call for Focus on Winning All 28 Lok Sabha Seats

Former State presidents and veteran leaders, D.V. Sadananda Gowda and K.S. Eshwarappa, extended their best wishes to Mr. Vijayendra and urged party cadre to concentrate on securing victory in all 28 Lok Sabha seats in the State.
