Ministers Serve “Anna Prasadam” at Annadhana Koodam
Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister P.K. Sekarbabu and Minister for Municipal Administration K.N. Nehru served “anna prasadam” to the devotees in the newly constructed Annadhana Koodam near the Arulmigu Brahmapureeswarar temple at Tirupattur near Tiruchi. This newly built facility, completed at a cost of ₹89.6 lakh, now provides a dedicated space for serving meals to temple visitors.
Additional Tiers Inaugurated at Pundarikaksha Perumal Temple
In a separate event, the two Ministers inaugurated the construction of additional five-tiers on the north rajagopuram of the Pundarikaksha Perumal temple at Thiruvellarai near Tiruchi. The project, set to cost ₹7.85 crore, aims to enhance the infrastructure of this ancient temple and provide a better experience for worshippers and tourists.
Office Building and Wooden Car Inaugurated
Additionally, the Ministers opened the office building of the temple’s Executive Officer, constructed at a cost of ₹31.95 lakh. This new facility will support the administrative needs of the temple and enhance its operations.
Moreover, Mr. Sekarbabu, along with School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, participated in the inauguration of the newly built wooden car made of teak for Lord Manicka Vinayagar at the Rockfort Arulmigu Thayumanaswamy Temple in Tiruchi. This 7.6 metres high, 6.3 metres wide, and 5.1 metres long wooden car, funded by a generous donor, adds to the cultural and religious significance of the temple.
