Shivarajkumar’s ‘Bhairathi Ranagal’ Set for Release with Multi-language Debut
Shivarajkumar’s upcoming film, ‘Bhairathi Ranagal’, directed by Narthan, has finally received its release date. The highly anticipated Kannada movie features Rukmini Vasanth in a prominent role and is poised to make its mark in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi cinema.
The production of ‘Bhairathi Ranagal’ is spearheaded by Geetha Shivarajkumar, a notable politician and Shivarajkumar’s wife, under the banner of Geetha Pictures. This film serves as a prequel to the hit 2017 Kannada action thriller, ‘Mufti’, starring Srii Murali. Notably, ‘Mufti’ showcased Shivarajkumar in the compelling character of Bhairathi Ranagal.
Following the success of ‘Mufti’, the film was remade in Tamil under the title ‘Pathu Thala’. The Tamil remake starred Silambarasan and Gautham Karthik, directed by Obeli N Krishna. ‘Bhairathi Ranagal’ boasts an impressive cast including Rahul Bose and Shabeer Kallarakkal, with Ravi Basrur at the helm as the music director.
